31 Days of Halloween

Happy October! This time of year is always full of festive activities, treats, you name it. I know that often for families on a budget (aren’t we all?) that it can be intimidating and upsetting when you feel like you don’t have the time or funds to bring the holiday spirit into your home.

This year, I’m going to share 31 days of super simple, low/no frill Halloween themed treats and activities that are also very low budget and likely done with items you have at home. I hope your kids love these as much as I do!

Follow me along on my social media platforms for daily videos all through October, or here where I’ll update with 1 new surprise everyday!

Day 1
Spooky Ghost Pancakes

Doesn’t get much simpler than this! Place your chocolate chips FIRST and using a squeeze bottle, outline and fill your ghost. Flip once bubbling and there you have it.

My kids loved their ghost cakes this morning and are so excited for a month of Halloween! Let me know if you give these a try and be sure to follow for a full month of simple Halloween themed snacks and activities.

Day 2
Apple Smiles

How fun are these? Carve your apple slices, add some peanut butter and mini marshmallows and top with a new slice. Head to the apple smiles link for a quick video tutorial!

Day 3
Carved Clementines

This one may be the easiest! All you need are clementines and a sharp knife to make these super cute little carved clementines. These are great for at home or throwing in the lunchbox for school!
